| Kol Shofar's Adult Education program is dedicated to the pursuit of lifelong learning and spiritual and intellectual growth.
With a broad spectrum of classes, lectures, special events and activities, participants can learn about and enhance their knowledge of Torah, Jewish authors, prayer book Hebrew, Jewish history, philosophy, the Talmud, cooking, Kabbalah, Jewish rituals for the home, and many more topics.
Our teachers include Kol Shofar¹s rabbis, visiting rabbis, rabbis who are among our membership, nationally known speakers, and knowledgeable lay experts that are members.

| CHEVRE SHAS: THE TALMUD STUDY CIRCLE Tuesdays, 8:00 am9:00 am
Delve deeply into the traditional study of Talmud and its commentaries. Focus will be on the meaning of the content under discussion and on the process of doing Talmud. This ongoing study group is designed both for those new to Talmud study and for those with some experience. Hebrew/Aramaic texts and English translations are provided so that everyone can participate.

LUNCH & LEARN TORAH with Rabbi Lavey Derby Thursdays, noon1:00 pm
Join our ten-year journey through Biblical literature as we study the Book of Judges. The text is read in English, and the discussion is always stimulating and thoughtful. Whether you are new to Torah or have been studying for years, this weekly study session will become a highlight of your week. Bring a kosher dairy lunch and a curious mind and heart.

PHILOSOPHIES OF JUDAISM with David Fankushen First and Third Tuesdays 1:00 pm2:00 pm
Read and discuss Jewish philosophy and thought in this friendly group led by David Fankushen. David has taught the history of Kabbalah at the California Institute of Integral Studies, Chochmat HaLev and the Dominican University.
