___ BIRKAT HACHAMAH Every 28 years, the Jewish people celebrate the return of the sun to its place in the heavens at the moment of its creation. This celebration is called Birkat HaChamah – the Blessing of the Sun, and the most recent occurrence was on April 8, 2009. Rabbi Chai Levy led a special ritual.
