Breast Cancer Anaf
The Hebrew word Anaf means branch. The Kol Shofar Breast Cancer Anaf is a branch on the Tree of Life of our community. We have come together in a friendly, caring and confidential way to offer non professional assistance to Kol Shofar members who are dealing with the varied aspects of breast cancer, including genetic testing, chemo, pre and post mastectomy, DCIS and metastatic issues. We also want to give support to caregivers of patients.
We are pleased to help with providing buddies, transportation, errands, grocery shopping, cooking, babysitting, taking you out on a walk, hospital and home visits, agency and support group referrals, and more. There are volunteers who would love to knit you a hat or bring you vegetable matzo ball soup. Please call on us without hesitation if we can be of service to you.
Reach us by calling Marcy Levy Klassen at the Kol Shofar Office, 415.-388.1818 ext. 100 or programs@kolshofar.org.
No one in our community needs to face this disease alone.
