Whether you are brand new to Hebrew or a “continuing beginner” interested in modern or Prayerbook/Biblical study from the source in Hebrew, this class will prepare you by introducing you to the Hebrew alphabet and vowels and teach you how to read Hebrew with fluency and accuracy.

INTERMEDIATE MODERN HEBREW

For those who can read, write Hebrew as well as speak at a beginner/intermediate level, with a general knowledge of the grammar forms and a good basic vocabulary. A text book will be required to purchase.

Tikva Farber is a Hebrew and Judaic Studies teacher with over 20 years experience teaching adults, teens and children of all ages in Biblical, Prayerbook and Modern Hebrew. She is certified by the Israel Ministry of Education and is a faculty member of Brandeis Hillel Day School.
