Classes & Groups

THIS I BELIEVE:
A WORKSHOP IN EXPLORING YOUR OWN THEOLOGY
Sundays, monthly, 10:30 am–noon.
We can never fully understand God. Perhaps we are not sure if we even believe in God, yet something in us searches for understanding.

Throughout Jewish history, we have attempted to conceptualize God and experience God in a variety of ways. Through the study of primary texts, we will gain a better understanding of God in the Bible, Talmud, Midrash, medieval Jewish philosophy, Kabbalah, Hasidic thought and modern Jewish thought. Along with chevruta study (learning in pairs), journaling and reading essays outside of class, we will each formulate our own personal theologies. The class meets monthly into the spring, and students are asked to commit to come for the entire series.

WOMEN'S ROSH HODESH GROUP
Women are invited to join me each month to celebrate Rosh  Hodesh.

GREEN CHAVURAH
