KADIMA Are you in 6th or 7th grade and want to meet new people at fun events? Then Kadima is for you! We offer a wide variety of fun activities throughout the year such as ice skating, visits to theme parks, and just time to chill out with friends. If you are enrolled in Beit Binah or Tichon, then you are automatically enrolled in Kadima. All you have to do is show up to an event. Your friends are welcome to come too, all they have to do is fill out the Kadima permission form and bring it to the event. So if you want to meet other Jewish kids your age, then you should come to a Kadima event. Email Tracy here for info on Kadima events. SENIOR KADIMA Hey 8th Graders! Did you know that there is a youth group just for the 8th grade at Kol Shofar?  Senior Kadima is a youth group program specifically for 8th graders. We have a variety of activities both at Kol Shofar and out at fun places in the community. We have Senior Kadima only events, and events with either the Kadima group or the USY group. Activities range from a chill-out time before Tichon where we watch DVDs and have snacks to going to Great America or Scandia.  USY (UNITED sYNAGOGUE yOUTH) If you’re in the 9th to 12th grade, you can join USY, the youth arm of the Conservative Movement. USY is an amazing international youth group with thousands of cool Jewish kids from all over the country and Canada.  If you get involved you can go to Regional and International events and make tons of friends from everywhere.  We have a local chapter at Kol Shofar and we do events every month that are planned totally by our teen leadership board.  Our Marin USY (MUSY) chapter won Regional Chapter of the Year last year, because our teen leadership board is so awesome!  This year we are having so many awesome events like a movie and ice cream night to raise money for Tikkun Olam, Ice skating in San Francisco, a big dance with other local chapters, a cool fundraiser where we kidnap the Rabbi on Purim, and a progressive dinner where you get from house to house in a hummer limo!  Come to one of our events and check us out!  Bring your friends too!  (If you aren’t a student at Tichon and you haven’t registered for USY you are still welcome at our events!  If you want to register you can download the form here.  You can come to our chapter events even if you aren’t registered, but you will still need to download the registration form and fill out the back half that has all the emergency medical information and the release of liability.
