For more on the Baking Chavurah, please see our Committees and Chavurot page. Shavuot at Kol Shofar, 5771 Shavuot was celebrated by both young and old this year. Families celebrated the Torah by singing with musical guest Isaac Zones, munching on pizza and ice cream and hearing stories about the holiday from Sara Kupor our early childhood programmer. Adults were learning in the sanctuary with Rabbi Chai Levy and rabbi Stacy Friedman of Rodef Sholom. Click for Photo Gallery of Shavuot, June 7, 2011 2011 Ruach Day Ruach Day was a hit at Kol Shofar! We welcomed new faces and celebrated with long time friends. It was the last day of Beit Binah for the year so we celebrated with arts & crafts, Israeli music with KLEZMANIA!, a BBQ and lots of games. Click for Photo Gallery of Ruach Day, May 2011. Kol Shofar's Community Retreat Kol Shofar's 2011 Retreat Weekend was a big hit! From dancing, learning, praying, arts and crafts, hiking baseball games and s'mores making a good time was had by all. We joined forces with the Westminster Youth Group for an afternoon filled with chocolate and fun!  Check out the photos in this link to the Shutterfly photo site Photos of 2011 Gala Fundraiser On behalf of the 2011 Gala Committee I would like to thank those of you who attended our fabulous Broadway on Blackfield fundraiser on Sunday – It was an overwhelming success and reflected the ruach (spirit) and generosity of the Kol Shofar community – we celebrated with martinis and spirits delicious food by Mangia Nosh and were entertained by a beautifully produced cabaret show by Max Perkoff.
