Joshua is a native New Yorker. He moved to San Francisco in 1978. He and his wife, Patty Glatt, and daughter, Natanya Glatt, have been attending Kol Shofar since 1999. Joshua has been a member at-large of the Kol Shofar Board this past year. | Joshua was raised in a Reform Jewish home and he and Patty have been involved with the Jewish Renewal movement. He credits the Renewal movement with bringing him back to synagogue life. Joshua describes the home he grew up in as being filled with song. His father was a Cantor and teacher and his mother a school psychologist. His parents helped found Kibbutz Sasa in 1949. Their strong connection to Judaism, the State of Israel, community and social justice strongly influenced his life. Joshua is currently a partner at Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass. His legal practice focuses on land use, real estate and construction matters. |
Kol Shofars Board of Directors is a group of energetic and committed people who care deeply about our congregation and the Jewish people. The Board usually meets once a month, and the meeting is open to all congregants.
