Leil Selihot Services
Saturday, September 13, 2025 • 20 Elul 5785
7:30 PM - 9:30 PMBeit AmThe Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah, Jews around the world gather to align their hearts and minds, giving a visceral and imminent sense to our preparation for The High Holy Days. This is called Selihot, literally referring to the penitential prayers recited throughout the Hebrew month of Elul. Music is a significant part of the Selihot service, and in addition to Cantor Naomi Weiss, we welcome guest musical participants to add their spirits and voices to the evening. Selihot will be followed by a communal Havdalah.
