What Might You do To Help

There are many ways to help and many of you have lovingly shared some of those opportunities with us. Here’s a list of a few worthy causes:
1)     Magen David Adom in Israel – Supports paramedics, EMTs, first responders and first-aid providers on the ground in Israel.

2)     Masorti Judaism’s War Campaign – Our Conservative Movement’s affiliate that supports the arms and resources for the war, including Conservative affiliated and liberal communities and schools.

3)     Jewish Federations of North America – The umbrella organization representing more than 350 Jewish federations across the continent has organized an Israel emergency fund “to support victims of terror, help rebuild damaged infrastructure, and address the unprecedented levels of trauma caused by this horrific attack”.

4)     The Jewish Funders Network –  A Movement vetted fund and pluralistic foundation that works to maximize funding efforts based upon values of responsibility, equality and respect.

5)     JGive – Israeli tech-based nonprofit dedicated to “growing the culture of giving in Israel and to Israel” has launched a “national emergency fund to aid war victims”.

6)     NATAL : Israel Trauma Center for Victims of Terror and War – Israel Trauma Center for Victims of Terror and War – An Israeli organization offers mental health treatment around PTSD and other trauma related to war and terror.

7)     Barzilai Medical Center – A hospital in Ashkelon, near Gaza, which is treating civilian victims and soldiers injured in combat.

8)     Lone Soldier Center in Israel – Assists lone soldiers (i.e., soldiers not tethered to families, often immigrants) with basic needs such as food, laundry, community, before and after military service.Update this content.

9)     One Minute a Day, a website created to generate significant pressure on US elected officials to demand the release of the hostages in Gaza.
