Seventy-six years ago, the Jewish community was thrilled by the proclamation of Israel's establishment, which is now a vibrant center of Jewish life. This year, perhaps more than ever, we celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut and are reminded of the importance of having a Jewish State. We join with Jews around the world in joyous commemoration of our return to our ancient homeland and honor those who sacrificed greatly for our nation.
