Join teachers Rabbi Shelly Dorph, Cynthia Ulman, and Beverly Pinto as we continue the Hartman series Foundations for a Thoughtful Judaism. In this final unit on Ethics we will examine Jewish texts as a springboard to exploring and sharing our understanding of Ethics.
Some of the questions we’ll consider are:
What are the basis of ethical behavior in Judaism?
What is the relationship of responsibility to ethical behavior?
To whom do we owe ethical behavior? Ourselves and family? The stranger? What do we do when these conflict?
