Men's Group
Connect with other men for lectures, events & service projects
Shabbat Greeters
Warmly welcome and assist members and guests at Shabbat services.
Gemilut Chesed
Offer care and support to congregants who are ill, homebound, in mourning, or welcoming a new baby by providing phone calls, cards, visits and meals.
Community Service/Tikkun Olam
Serve meals to the homeless, participate in special drives(ie:books, clothes, blood), participate in community service/mitzvah projects.
Small Group Havurah
Meet with fellow members in smaller group settings for meals, outings, or whatever your group would like to read/do/see/explore in community.
Membership & Community Building
Help welcome new members; speak with potential members at open houses or community holiday celebrations: host a welcome or potential member group or neighborhood social activity.
Hevra Kadisha
Perform the mitzvot that enable our members to face the loss of a loved one with dignity and tradition.
Bridges to Israel
Plan programs and events that engage people in safe and stimulating conversation with world renowned scholars and leaders on Israel.
Board or Committee Leadership & Participation
Bring your leadership skills to the Board of Directors, special committees, or task forces.
Innovative Entrepeneurial Work
Develop new revenue sources for Kol Shofar.
Congregation Based Community Organizing
Build relationships that impact people in our community and county.

MEMBERSHIP PLEDGE 2024-25
Many of our members ask for guidance on what each household might give in order to sustain the congregation. In other words,
what does it cost per household to run our synagogue?
Continuing to operate Kol Shofar at its current high level depends on an average membership contribution of
$4,950 for two-adult households
and
$3,250 for one-adult households.

contribute to our community as a gift from your heart and according to your capacity.
